Increasing liquidity, emerging markets, evolving strategies

The LNG and natural gas market is facing a supply glut that could last until the end of 2020. The current buyer’s market has resulted in increased liquidity and spot market play, posing real challenges on traditional contracting patterns and business models.

At the same time, a slowdown in demand from traditional import giants such as Japan, China, South Korea, coupled with new gas exports from U.S. and Australia, has made it imperative for suppliers to seek new markets to stay ahead.

Platts 3rd Annual LNG & Natural Gas Markets Asia Conference once again gathers key industry powerhouses to discuss critical market issues and possible solutions for the suppliers, buyers, traders, and everyone in between.
